A traditional lager to cut through the noise. German pilsner malt and Nobel hops come together for the harmony of crispness.

A: Pours hazy/cloudy orange/yellow color. A two finger white head forms with light lace. This is way to cloudy for a pale lager, but I guess the haze sells.
A fairly neutral nose, with some citrus like hops up front, then generic grains and malts in the finish.
T: Hops are more American in style. More orange and citrus rind, lightly fruity. Bread and grains, and maybe a touch of caramel malt for balance. Not a ton of bitterness, and the hops are all up front and fairly subtle.
M/O: A light to medium body. Crisp carbonation and finishes dry. Enjoyable enough to drink when you get tiered of all the murky IPA's. While I can come back to this, not the best lager in Houston.

They call this a Traditional Pilsner, but thats not how I see it. For one, looks like a hazy. Second, while the hop character is more subtle, it is certainly American and not traditional European (unless if they are using Mandarina Bavaria hops, as that has always tasted like American C hops to me, but I forgot to ask). While not bad to drink, this really seems more like a light pale ale than a lager.

A: Pours a very lightly hazy medium yellow in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and moderate bright yellow + pale golden yellow colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall sudsy foamy bright white head that reduces to a large patch of thin film covering a little more than 75% of the surface of the beer surrounded by a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Minimal amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Slightly stronger than moderate aromas of biscuit + bready + grainy hops with a moderate amount of grainy + light fruit (apple) sweetness. Light aromas of lager yeast. Light to moderate aromas of grassy + citrus/tangerine + floral hops.

T: Upfront there are slightly stronger than moderate flavors of biscuit + bready + grainy hops with a moderate amount of grainy + light fruit (apple) sweetness. That is followed by light flavors of lager yeast. Finally there are light to moderate flavors of grassy + citrus/tangerine + floral hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which fades away relatively quickly leaving a fairly clean finish.

M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly crisp upfront with a relatively clean finish.

O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a pleasantly refreshing clean + crisp mouthfeel. Enjoyable with a slightly different twist on the classic hop flavors + aromas than a more traditional hop profile but still in that vein.
