A: Pours with a chilled haze, a pale yellow color. White head rises to about two fingers and recedes quickly. Light lace is left behind.
S: A bread and mineral quality. Really not much aroma at all. Nothing bad, or off putting, just absent.
T: Like the nose, mostly cereal grains and bread up front, with a touch of sweetness. The barest amount of orange rind/citrus (which is a bit odd for a Helles) and very light bitterness lingers on. Certainly not bad in anyway, just buy the books, and rather pedestrian.
M/O: A light body. Crisp carbonation and clean. Easy enough to drink, in that no frills, don't have to think about it way Which has its pluses.
A really standard lager without a lot of character, and I would say my score is rather generous. Don't get me wrong, I'll drink this any day over their other nonsense, but it still doesn't compare to...well any lager with character and nuance.
