16 oz can from 4 pack purchased from brewery.
Canned in August of 2020. Didn't know that until they gave it to me at checkout. Damn COVID restrictions.
Parish glass.
Predictable hazy honey color with a very tall creamy cap that leaves thick webs of lacing on the walls of the glass.
Aroma is kettle soured acidity, some coconut-y hops, some cantaloupe, ginger, and Christmas Tree.
Flavor is somewhere between an IPA and a sour, but not a sour IPA. More like a Gose-IPA. Should've probably expected that. Some brine, some orange peel, ginger, turmeric, coconut-y hops, dill, and hay. It's a rough drinker.
Feel is acidic and carbonated, ending dry and slightly resinous.
Overall, it's decent but I wish they would have had it on tap to try before hand. I liked the idea of a DDH Gose, but it seems like it works better on paper.
Price paid : $14 / 4 pack
Would buy again : no
