12 oz can, dated 11/5/20, highly recommended to me by a very ahem...helpful worker at the store, who placed a single in my cart. (I actually didn't mind. I just didn't check the date before I checked out.)
Crooked Stave vacation glass.
Hazy alright but not juicy, very blonde, creamy cap of 2 fingers, leaving chunky lace behind where it was.
Stony mineral and grass/pine from the can, along with some peels and slight evergreen. From the glass I get more grist than anything, with a slight pink champagne note.
Flavor brings banana and pear, very tasty, with some hints of mineral and bright evergreen. Some doughy malt presence lays underneath it all. It's actually pretty darn enjoyable.
Feel is crisp and semi-clean, with some moderate to heavy carbonation and slight resin left behind.
Overall, yep, this was pretty enjoyable. I hope they brew it again sometime. This is going to go good with the pizza I'm about to throw down.
Price paid : $1.55 / can
Would buy again : sure
