The moment we saw someone walking around with a full on pint glass of this we had to ask, is that chocolate milk? Because it literally has that grey-ish brown chocolate milk opacity with nary a head but for some disproportionately large spit bubbles, as if blown up from the bottom by a straw, leaving a little waxy residue on the surface and the glass. This has to be one of the worst looking "beers" I've ever seen, but at the same time, you have to ask yourself, is that what they were going for? By appearance alone, this is a beer that would make Angry Chair blush.
That said, I'm not entirely convinced it's beer. While in flavor it tastes like pureed German chocolate cake, in feel it transforms into a coconut rum cocktail. Much like the Ca Phe variants, this exhibits a lighter than expected body, particularly based on its description and appearance. Even more generally speaking, for a stout, it's light like a seltzer, and actually reminds me of Smooj, while no where near as gritty, chunky or viscous as you'd think.
Absolute insanity.
