I had this beer on-tap in a tulip at the brewery.

Appearance: medium golden hue with a ton of haze and a razor-thin layer of ivory foam. More head would be in order.

Smell: a little farmhouse funk and a little dry malt; simple, but enticing.

Taste: very slightly tart with a good farmhouse character and maybe just a tiny hint of diacetyl, which works here. I like this beer a lot.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and a bit of a rocky creaminess.

Overall: this beer isn't perfect, but it's very drinkable. I could see quaffing a fair bit of this.

On-tap at the brewery, on to the beer:

Saison de Poêle is a bright blonde colored beer with a half-inch of head and good lace. It looks light, and the smell fits the look with light whispers of appealing banana, clove, vague aromatic spices, and pear. This saison isn't much funky, and more of a spicy beer that was made for afternoon drinking. It's light, crisp, and its light banana, sourdough, bubblegum, pear, and very dry somewhat bitter ending give me plenty of reason to continue drinking.
