We brewed this special “Milkshake” Double IPA here with our new Russian friends from Green Street Brewery. Loaded with raspberries, tart apple, and flaked oats, this beer turned out bright pink in color and delightfully drinkable! All that fruit is balanced out through a hefty dosing of Citra and Mosaic hops.

This is a strange beer that defies categories - it's listed as a "milkshake DIPA", with lactose and with various fruits mixed in. It seemed far more fruit-forward than IPA-forward, so I submitted it as a Fruit/Vegetable Beer.
I had this beer on-tap in a goblet at the brewery.
Appearance: rich hazy murky red-brown hue with a thin layer of ivory foam. Odd color indeed!
Smell: sweet with raspberries and earthy hops. An interesting blend.
Taste: raspberry and earthy hops, like the aroma; bitterness is pretty strong toward the end. I will say this: it hides the alcohol well!
Mouthfeel: medium body with a moderate carbonation and decent creaminess.
Overall: a strange beer, but one that earns points for style. It's dangerously drinkable at this ABV.
