Clear bright yellow with plenty of foam in the big Stout glass. The first sense is a whiff of perfumey hops, like a Kölsch. Starts with a bit of malty sweetness and finishes with an astringent graininess. Rather thin and bitter, which I guess is the point of the style. It's enlivened slightly by the aromatics. Some faint flavors of straw and grass. There's a tart finish for some reason along with the grainy aftertaste and increasing bitterness. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. No apparent date.

10oz pour at the brewery.
Crystal clear, dull yellow-gold, medium to small head. Smell is barley tea, grassy, maybe a hint of lemon.
Taste is moderate grainy sweetness, a hint of honey, grass, again a hint of lemon.
Mouthfeel is light, airy, clean, crisp. Very nice.
