Unknown vintage (to be fair, I didn't check the bottle for that information); drank 12/3/23 @ Pokemon Communion.
Cloudy dull orange appearance.
An even pour yielded a HUGE white head; strong, frothy lacing remained.
Lemon, cracked wheat & spring water notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Cracked wheat, mild lemon & faint black pepper flavors.
A bit dry, but overall enjoyable.

L: Had this beer on-tap at Fine Creek, poured into a snifter glass. Had a bright yellow color and a cloudy consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy head that quickly dissipated. Pretty good lacing.
S: A decent, but not great, aroma of Belgian-style yeast, citrus fruit, and tropical fruit.
T: Tasted of a little bit of tropical fruit (passion fruit, perhaps?), some citrus fruit notes (lemon), a floral quality, a good amount of Belgian-style yeast, spices, and a hint of malt. Not a bad flavor for the most part, but somewhat underpowered. The fruit presence was underrepresented, but some of the other elements are certainly there. Pretty tasty.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a lively finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A straightforward, if uneven, saison. Worth a look, though.
