It's a wheat based brew, so there's no surprise the pour to try to empty a pint can into a clear glass liter mug had to be paused. For every inch of liquid, there were ten inches of foam produced. In fairness, this occurred at room temperature, but it is too foamy and highly carbonated, regardlessly. The stark white foam recedes quickly and cleanly, leaving no lacing inside the vessel. There's an aroma that's both bready and lemony. Although it's not pronounced, it is pleasant. The liquid is lightly lemon-amber in color, mildly cloudy and bright. It tastes just like it smells, bready and lemony. The breadlike wheat inclusion is very nice, without bring the negatives that often accompany it. It's sweet, but not superficially so, nor overly so. The flavor hit from the lemon is light, but enough that its presence is noticed. For a fruited wheat beer, this has a surprisingly substantial mouthfeel that's smooth and supple. Even those traditionalists that don't care for wheat based, nor fruited beers, should be able to accommodate this one. It's not too fruity and it's not too wheaty. It may not be too flavorful, but it is remarkably pleasant.

This might be the most refreshing beer I've ever had. Notes of grass and sour lemon on the nose with a touch of honey. Tastes like a super smooth lemonade with no stickiness. Just a touch of sour lemon warhead. Very good beer. Maybe the perfect summer beer. I could seriously drink this just like water. Earns the name.

On tap at the brewery. They poured this into a tall tulip. The appearance was a murky yellow color (actually looks like lemonade). One finger white foamy head sustains for a good minute before slow dissipation. Barely any lacing. The aroma captures a pure sweet lemon pulp with a delicate juicy bitter rind-like quality underneath. Refined sweet wheat slides really far underneath. The flavor embraces a fully bittersweet pulp to rind balance bringing about the lemon sweetness over some sweet grainy bitterness. Aftertaste is barely there with a slight tang, but a good tang to it. Long sweet wet finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a spectacular sessionability about it. Carbonation rides low costing the wet feel of it all to be like drinking juice. Overall, though I drew that all out just to take it all apart, in essence, this beer is like drinking lemonade. It’s beer lemonade done extremely well. No radler or shandy, this is just your cream of the crop "beer lemonade" and I hope to be sipping on this for the rest of my life in Summers in Vermont.

Poured from a growler. Very nice straw lemonade appearance. Relatively clear. Unfortunately, little head retention. Smells like fresh squeezed lemons and lacto. Taste is where this beer shines. Very refreshing lemony citrus notes, light body with the wheat coming through nicely. This is like no beer I have had before and I would definitely drink a few of these on a hot summer day.

L: Looks like lemonade. a little opaque, but mostly translucent. No head really.
S: A touch of funk on the nose. A citric acid like sour smell is also present. Citrus and some grain, straw.
T: Reminds me of an unsweetened lemon lime soda. Carbonation is medium. Beer drinks very crisp and refreshing. Really just a touch acidic. Also some notes of toasty grain and a bit of that doughy wheat flavor. Would make a great intro to sours.
F: Light, refreshing, and crisp.
O: This is a really good beer to kick back on a hot summer day. Definately a fan.
