At the brewery, this was poured into a tulip. The appearance was a moderately hazy burnt orange to yellow color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a decent pace. Some light sticky lacing. The aroma takes in some sweet to bitter citrusy pulpy to rind-like hops. Some light lemon zest, super subtle pine far underneath. The flavor rides the balance between the sweet to bitter quite nice taking in a sharp bitter/zesty like aftertaste and punching the finish the same way. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation is felt. Bitterness feels appropriate for the style. Overall, very nicely done AIPA by a brewer that is doing a fantastic job of getting it done right!

This is wild. Beautiful light golden haze. Absolutely thick haze without being murky and a nice white head. Huge tropical mango in the aroma with some orange and grapefruit citrus peel. Pine comes through slightly but much more in the flavor. Very very full body for an IPA of this alcohol content. Could drink this beer all day long while still being floored by the flavor and complexity.

On tap at Foam. Big fluffy white head on an orange body. Smells of big citrus and resiny hops. Flavor is all pine hop. Very light citrus behind it with just a hint of grain and sweetness. Light body. Crisp. Delicious.

One of two beers at Foam over the weekend...
A: Hazy and bright yellow with a nice white head sitting on top of the beer
S: Pine, resin, and citrus
T: The taste is grapefruit and pine upfront with a subtle breadiness in the background
M: Soft and juicy with a gentle bitterness and a round mouth feel
O: A nice lower abv hop bomb
