On tap at the brewery. This was poured into a tulip. The appearance was a burnt orange color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace leaving no lacing. The aroma starts off with a thick juicy orange pulp to rind bitterness freely flowing over some grassy sweet notes. Sly bitter piney notes, but even that is so far underneath. The flavor yields to the bitterness initially but then as it warms, it blends so well to the sweet and becomes fully a bittersweet blissfully attentive juice bomb, but in a good way. The aftertaste is quite quick, but bittersweet with a delightful easy going bittersweet finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionabiltiy about it. Yes, oddly enough as a DIPA, this is quite easy going. Carbonation yields nicely to the body appropriately as an DIPA. Overall, another great DIPA by Foam Brewers. This is probably their best style they know how to brew.
