Poured into a flared tulip, the appearance was a dark black color with a bubbly sort of tan head. Quickly fell off. Messy speckled lacing, but what makes up for what one thinks for lack of show makes up in aroma and flavor. The aroma starts off with a beautiful blend of roasty peanut butter/nutty toastiness. Huge amounts of dark and milk chocolate chunks flow hugely into the blend. Roasty coffee beans. The flavor melds the roasty coffee beans to the semi-sweet/roasty nutty, semi-peanut buttery sly sticky (but acceptable) portions flowing into the aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with the ABV showing no intentions of knocking me out. The flow from tastebuds to tongue just feels so good - touching the dry roasted edge to the carbonation ever so finely. Overall, a milk/sweet stout to win them all, quite possibly.

L: Very dark, off-white head, good rentention.
S: Big coffee and chocolate, carmael as well.
T: Coffee is front and center, sweetness balances it out very well
F: booze totally hidden, silky mouthfeel
O: awesome coffee stout that easily sits up there with double shot. Absolutely awesome beer.

I Had this beer at the brewery while waiting for a growler fill.
I have to start off by saying wow... I have never had a stout quite like this one. It is everything I want a stout to be.
A: Pitch black in the tulip style glass with a thick mocha head
S: Dark chocolate, mocha coffee, vanilla
T: Coffee, dark cocoa, vanilla cream
M: Rich and decadent and deliciously creamy.
O: I was really surprised by this beer. I had the other two stouts they have made this winter but this one stole the show.
