On tap at the brewery. The appearance was a semi-hazy burnt orange color with a quickly dissipating finger’s worth of white foamy head that left some sticky stringy and somewhat spider web lacing. The aroma charges with the sweet guava up front and then lets in some fresh aromatic passionfruit and lemon drop sweetness. Full and bittersweet. The flavor balances some sweet biscuity malty notes over the guava, passionfruit and lemon drop. Bittersweet content. Sly blend of those tropical fruits in the aftertaste melding into the finish, briskly. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Medium carbonation, feels good. AIPA harshness. Overall, very nicely done AIPA with those tropical fruits melding into the bitterness appropriately.

L - semi-opaque orange gold.

S - heavy on the lemon drop. Orange slice candy and a touch of melon.

S - honeydew melon and peach. Orange and pineapple creamsicle. Light stonefruit flavors and an overall soft, tropical, juicy experience.

F - fluffy and creamy. Lively carbonation not so much in bubble form, but more in that it expands in the mouth and fills my gullet with delicious awesome flavors.

O - this is a fantastic beer. It wasn't a DIPA so I thought, "how good could it be?" Well shit, I'm glad this is only 6.5% because at the rate I'm throwing this back, I'll be gone in no time. Well, gone-er than I already am.
