Consider this rated to style, so this was poured into a mug. The appearance was a hazy orange color with a foamy white head that seemed to die off at it’s correct pace. Lace seemed to slide into the beer. The aroma had a nice consistent sweet juniper to tea to slight berries. Is that starfruit they added to this? Ok, different, but acceptable. The flavor leaned to the sweet side pulling in a slight fresh spruciness in underneath. Juniper comes back with the tea. Fair tea-like to sprucy aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. ABV felt good, though a bit higher for the style, acceptable as it didn’t effect the feel too much. Overall, my last couple of sahtis I didn’t know what I was talking about at least this time, I knew what I was doing coming into this beer and this was good. I believe the Finnish people would approve.

Wow, I even got to add a Foam beer! Had this on tap at Foam in Burlington.
Pours a deep orange, slightly hazy.
Smell is sweet, with juniper berries, tea and some... starfruit? Very interesting smell.
Taste is slightly sweet, once again the gin-notes of the junipers lead the way, followed by some tea.
Liquid is soft and smooth. with nice carbonation.
Ths was my least favorite beer at Fam, and I still liked it a lot. Sahtis are usually way too sweet for me, but this walked the edge very well.
