4/13/22 dated tall can...$19.99 for a 4 pack at DeCicco & Sons, Millwood,NY.
Pour lighter and yellowy in color, fully hazed, mini cap is all it musters, leaves just a bit of spotty lacing on the glass.
The advertised coconuts, soft key lime pie and tropical/floral notes on the enticing sniff.
Soft and slinky brew, tasty and complex. More coconuts, more lime, yes vanilla. Mighty fine stuff...fine take on the style from one of the truly outstanding breweries in the region. Congratulations on five years and best wishes for MANY more!

Foam hits this one out of the park for their 5th anny. Every. Single. Flavor comes through—the lime afterhint that lingers at the end—it’s fucking brewing alchemy at its finest. I wish I coulda bought a case—at only 6% it’s a crime this limited as it is. Please Foam please brew another batch before the end of the year. For a brewery that produces so many wonderful beers, to say this is one of their finest creations is saying something major. Love this concoction.

The appearance was a murky toasty pale orange color with a sustaining finger’s worth of white foamy head that slid off at a moderate pace. Slight lace. The aroma had some vanilla/cake-like/biscuits over top of some grassy and citrusy hops which weren’t that bitter. Light bubblegum. Everything seemed to come off sweet. The flavor leaned towards the sweetness of the malts and hops complimenting themselves fairly nice. Nice aftertaste of the malts and hops. Some pop from the hops in the finish. The feel was about medium bodied with a full scale sessionable quality about it. Pretty smooth with the hops and the malts. ABV felt fine. Carbonation felt good. Overall, pretty nicely done APA that I would have again.

L - pours a dark, brooding orange. Has a healthy glow about it. Opaque, but not hazy.
S - shaved coconut is the main attraction. Sweet lemon meringue pie and whipped cream.
T - more coconut! Not sickly sweet though. Melded with orange slice candy and a prickly tang. Kinda reminds me of orange soda. Honestly that might be lime. Corn syrup. Touch of vanilla and white bread. The sweetness is balanced by tingling bitterness on the finish. It's by no means mouth-puckering, but swoops in to keep this beer from being a sugar bomb.
F - thin and without a ton of body. A bit watery, but in the same way as Interboro. The liquid kinda breaks apart in your mouth, which interestingly allows the flavors to seep deeper into the tiny crevasses present in my mouth hole.
O - unique and a little weird. APA? Ok. Coconut cake is a good descriptor, but there are is a lot of other neat flavor action going on.
