On tap at the brewery.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a soft burnt orange almost copper color with a nice sturdy finger's worth of white foamy head that slid off at a slow pace. Delicate lace ran underneath.
The aroma had some fresh sweet pineapple to mango flesh rolling into a nice cover of some passion fruit tropical sweetness. Light cracker malts present a clean underneath.
The flavor was moderately sweet with a crisp bitter embrace underneath and cherishing the aftertaste in the same manner.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Though I found nothing distracting between the carbonation and bitterness, the ABV did feel as projected by the brewer which was good and did leave a good semi-soft feel along my tongue. Light stickiness, but good and not cloying.
Overall, an absolutely well done DIPA that I hope I would have again, what a knockout!
