On tap at the brewery.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a presentable smooth burnt orange color with a finger's worth of white foamy head that slid off at a mild pace. Subtle lace ran here and there.
The aroma had some sweet fresh lemon pulp to bitter rind and having a nice melon/honeydew quality rolling about fantasticly! Some sweet sailing smooth grassy hop notes slide in underneath.
The flavor was an awesome balance of the fully bittersweet blend of those melon/honeydew sweet hops just strolling over the lemon freshness, so vibrant and clean! Aftertaste was fully bittersweet through the lemon and melon characters.
The mouthfeel was almost medium bodied as it seemed to sit just a touch under but that didn't bother me. Carbonation felt great. ABV felt as projected.
Overall, what an absolutely wonderful AIPA that I would love to have again.
