On tap at Foam Brewers in Burlington, VT.
This one pours a clear golden yellow, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells slightly minerally, in a good way, with grassy hops, and soft pils malt.
Foam really nailed this style wise, it's so crisp and so clean- no glaring flaws- just a nice slight mineral character, a zing of grassy and lemony hops, and a crisp malt character.
This is pretty light bodied, airy and soft, with a very crisp finish.
From the outside, Foam may look like an IPA machine, but it's very clear that they also make exceptional traditional styles.

Poured into a stange at the brewery.
The appearance was a nice looking crisp yellow murky color, some transparency wanted to peak out but for the most part, it kept a mild "haze" about it. Just a finger's worth of white foamy head that slid off at a moderate pace and left just a tickle of speckled lace.
The aroma had a semi-crisp to sweet lemon to Saaz-like hoppy grassiness coming about. I'm not sure if they "Saaz" hopped this, but to me at least, I'd say they did with a little bit of that "spice"-like hoppiness I tend to find in a Czech pilsener.
The flavor was moderately sweet yet pulling in some bitterness and a bit of that spiciness evidently pulling it all together and riding on into the aftertaste just as I expected.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a great sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine, somewhat light. ABV felt on par. Crisp semi-sweet to spicy sort of finish.
Overall, pretty nice as a Czech pilsener, I'd definitely have again.
