Very very nice beer and I would buy this again in a heartbeat. I've reviewed beers now and have just visited Foam a couple of weeks ago for the first time and I have an observation about Foam from looking at many many many beers that they produce. I am not sure that makes any sense to me to make a really fine beer and wonder if they are ever going to brew it again? Certainly would get me coming back to try beers but I'd like to be able to get a repeat beer if it was really good. Interesting business model.

Growler fill procured from the brewery.

This one pours a very hazy and slightly murky dark orange, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This one smells like nectarine, tangerine, some pine, peach, and grapefruit.

This is pretty delightful- all of the fruits above are definitely present- mostly nectarine and soft peach, with just the slightest hint of bitterness.

This has a very soft mouthfeel, most rich and airy at the same time. It's very drinkable.

Foam makes some pretty awesome stuff, and this is no exception.

On tap the brewery.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a nice looking semi-hazy burnt orange color with a finger's worth of white foamy head that slid off at a fair pace. Not much lace.
The aroma had a nice blend of sweet danky onion, some peach, light mango, and a tickle of nectarine. Some light sweet grass at the very end.
The flavor seemed to lean into the sweetness of the onion and the peach. Mango and nectarine was somewhat there, but seemingly coming across more so in a slight tart skin-like fashion. Aftertaste unloaded the onion, mango and peach seeming to go full throttle into each other - sweet and danky.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine, perhaps just a touch low, but that didn't bother me. ABV felt on par.
Overall, very nice Double IPA that I would love to have again.
