Growler procured from the source.

This one pours a creamsicle looking light orange, with a nice white head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like tangerine, pineapple, orange creamsicle, and a little bit of pine.

This isn't exceptionally different than Blues Explosion- just a little bit of different fruit flavor- as mentioned above. It's again very lightly bitter, just enough to keep it not muddled.

This is medium bodied, soft and like a cloud, with a good level of carbonation, and a very high level of drinkability.

*insert generic statement on how great Foam is*

Growler: Poured a hazy dirty yellow color ale with a nice white foamy head. Aroma of juicy hops notes with some tropical fruit notes and some floral undertones. Taste is a great mix of juicy hops notes grapefruit and tropical notes with light residual sugar notes. Body is full with good carbonation. Solid NEIPA with great juicy factor and no apparent bitterness.

Drank on tap at Foam Brewers, Burlington, VT
Served in a tulip

Cloudy, pale straw yellow appearance. The nearly opaque body was topped by an incredibly tight and foamy (of course), two-inch tall, bright white crown that fell to a tiny collar. Lots of spotty, drippy lacing trickled down the glass.

The aroma was outstanding. Super dank, fruity and juicy. Huge weed-like presence. Loads of tropical fruitiness as well. Mango and papaya came through strongest. Some pineapple too. Fair amount of sweetness. Moderate citrus presence. Juicy orange notes were apparent. As the beer warmed, creamy lactose notes appeared.

The flavor profile was also impressive. Big citrus notes. Loads of juicy orange and tangerine. Somewhat sweet. Lots of pineapple in the center. Some lemon too. Nice mix of citrusy sweetness and tarness on the back end. Orange sherbet came to mind. There was a big grapefruit rind-like pithiness and a piney, resiny bitterness initially, but this mellowed with time.

Nice soft, creamy mouthfeel. Slightly shy of medium bodied for the style. Slick and smooth on the palate. The beer contained a fine, fairly subtle effervescence. Solid.

Folk Implosion is a fantastic double IPA with an amazing fruity and dank aroma and a terrific citrus-forward flavor profile. Lactose-infused IPAs seem to be an increasingly popular trend in the craft beer world, and many come across as overly creamy and sweet. This beer uses just enough to get a subtle creaminess without overwhelming the palate.

First time at Foam and I tried several 5oz drafts before I picked this up. Loved it and picked up a 32 oz growler of it and am scarfing this down right now. Really nice. I can't wait to get back to Burlington to see what else Foam will have. Neat place

this one was sort of harsh when first consuming cold but as it warmed it opened up to bring creamy orange, peach, and grapefruit flavor, still a somewhat sharp green character to it but nicely balanced with fruity and sweet qualities. solid feel.

On tap at the brewery.
This was poured into a tall tulip.
The appearance was a semi-stiff burnt yellow to almost orange color with a bar pour's clean white foamy head that cut off at a nice pace. Mild lace ran here and there, but slid for the most part.
The aroma had a mild sweet pineapple to creamy lemon pulp sweetness and then delving on into some clementine/tangerine sweetness. Light grassy hop sweetness with a hint of bitterness, but nothing overbearing.
The flavor was moderately sweet with a presentable bitterness to stiffen up the overall balance of it all. Mild aftertaste of the pineapple and lemon sweet pulp.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping to sessionable in between sort of feel to it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt on par.
Overall, pretty nice Double IPA that I would have again.
