Growlette to becher pint glass.
The appearance was a pale hazy burnt crisp dark yellow to orange color with a finger's worth of white foamy head that slid off at a mild pace. Some lace formed in a nonchalant way, sliding - yes, but seemed barely there.
The aroma had a nice smooth sweet citrus peel and pulp melding with some vanilla extract. Smooth sweet freshly cut grass rolling in underneath.
The flavor was sweet initially by pulling the citrus pulp into the vanilla and then adding just a touch of citrus peel for balance. Aftertaste seemed mild between the citrus and vanilla, slightly coming across like biscuits or wafers.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt on par. Finish was nice and quaint, somewhat with the vanilla but also yielding to the citrus pulp and rind bitterness just a touch.
Overall, really nice as an New England inspired IPA, well worthy of having again.
