A bit of a twist on our other hoppy offerings, this Wheat India Pale Ale is brewed with Madagascar vanilla bean and fermented with a yeast strain that is unusual for this style.

Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a nice looking pale yellow color with a finger's worth of white foamy head that slid off at a moderate pace. Some stringy lace ran here and there, started to spider web nicely.
The aroma had some bready wheatiness flowing into some bubblegum, sweet grass, vanilla creaminess, and then ended with a little bit of orange to grapefruit pulpy to peel-like features.
The flavor was moderately sweet through the prior mentioned aromas rolling into a gentle bitterness to tell me that it is an IPA. Not much of an aftertaste but seemed somewhat orange and grapefruit cream.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied having a fine sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt on par. Semi-smooth with a orange creamy sort of finish.
Overall, pretty nice New England styled wheat IPA. I'd have again and the wheat seems quite displaced in the flavor and feel that could turn some heads, I'd say.

pours out a pale straw color, super dense and bright white head with soapy bubbles atop. pretty aromatic and the flavor profile matches closely. big yeasty notes of bubblegum and nanner, huge amounts of smooth bready wheat, mellow hit of creamy sweet vanilla, some tropical and pithy orange/grapefruit character, and touch of grassy hops on the finish to remind you that your drinking an 'IPA'... ridiculous stuff. mouthfeel is pure fluff. very interesting brew, giving this a high rating because it is definitely boundary pushing and well executed!!
