Poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a thick hazy dark yellow paper color with a sustaining finger's worth of white foamy head that slid off at a delicate pace. Slight messy filmy lace appeared and slid with the sipping.
The aroma had a nice sweet peach flesh to bitter peach skin to orange pulp and rind and an ever so slight whiff of pineapple at the very end. Some sweet grass and a touch of white bread at the end.
The flavor was somewhat sweet leaning at first and then develops in a very nice balance between bitter and sweet with a little bit of tart through the peach, orange and pineapple. Not much of an aftertaste, it was somewhat peachy but even that seemed barely there.
The mouthfeel was medium bodied with a fine sipping quality about it. Carbonation felt low as usual with these New England styled DIPA's but the more I drink this style the more my palate becomes accustomed and accept this more. ABV felt on par. Semi-smooth to sly juicy to peachy finish.
Overall, a very nicely done New England styled DIPA well worthy of having again.
