Growlette brought home and poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a bright to murky/semi-hazy yellow to orange color with a steady finger's worth of white foamy head that slid off at a moderate pace. Light lace ran here and there.
The aroma steadied upon some guava sweet and tart qualities hinging upon some restrained citrus sweet and bitter peel portions. Light lemongrass, and a whiff of a mesh of mango/grapefruit juice.
The flavor was moderately sweet with a steadying bitterness coming about, then the tartness of the guava that seemed to blend with the grapefruit. Moderate aftertaste of the guava with a little bit of grapefruit and a tickle of lemon.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied, perhaps just a touch under with a pretty good sessionability about it. Carbonation felt under as assumed by the style and by the brewer. ABV felt on par.
Overall, pretty nice APA that I would have again.
