Growlette brought home and drank myself.
Poured into a flared sample pilsener glass.
The appearance was a nice looking bright yellow color with an ever so sly transparency about it. Finger's worth of white foamy head started and escaped at a nice pace to leave some ringy lace that ended up following on into some strings.
The aroma started off with a nice blend of zesty to spicy hop notes flowing on into some grassiness and a nice smooth semi-sweet lager yeastiness.
The flavor was moderately sweet capturing the zestiness slightly mobile spiciness flowing on into a nice smooth sly sweet crisp yeastiness. Mild aftertaste of some biscuits, hop spice/zestiness.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a wonderful sessionability about it. Carbonation felt spot on with the ABV feeling just as where the brewer put it. Nice lager yeastiness smoothness.
Overall, really liked it for me, could definitely tell it was a well brewed lager definitely leaning towards the creative style of Foam Brewers' for doing a Czech Pilsener.
