750 ml growler from the brewery.
First pour was into a becher pint glass. Last two pours were into tulips. Nothing changed from any of the glassware.
The appearance was a dark milky pale orange woody color with a finger's worth of white foamy head that slid off at a moderate pace. Just a crimped glossing of spreading lace ran here and there.
The aroma had an absolutely wonderful blend of fresh sweet piney-ness glossing over a delicate orange to pineapple sweet hopping. Some tangerine rind and a litlte bit of danky onion slyly moved in underneath.
The flavor was moderately bitter with a substantial juicy after effect with s little bit of dryness and the piney-ness becoming just a hair more balanced. Aftertaste was semi-juicy with semi-lingering sort of bitter crisp piney to orange pulpy and pithiness to it.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionable to sipping quality about it. Carbonation was definitely low key just as a New England IPA should be. ABV did feel as projeced. Nice mobile juiciness kicking out some of the dryness that could have been overly bothersome.
Overall, extremely awesome New England styled IPA well worthy of coming back to.
