Growlette from the source.
This was poured into a pilsener glass.
The appearance was a semi-soft burnt yellow to almost amber color with a three finger white foamy head that slid off at a mild pace. Intricate spider webbing lace softly slid around the glass nicely.
The aroma had a smooth semi-sweet white cracker to biscuit clean maltiness up front flowing over some smooth sweet to semi-bitter lemon to citrusy hops. Light freshly cut grassiness in the background.
The flavor was moderately sweet meshing the hop grassiness to the cracker/biscuit malts, super nice and clean briskly touching down on a clever little hop bitter to smooth malty aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was about light bodied, perhaps a touch above but not too much. Nice and crushable with a smooth semi-hoppy sort of finish. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, really nice German Pilsener well worthy of having again. Me, I'd prefer to have this again with food this time of year, but straight up as is in the Summer.
