On tap at the brewery.
The appearance was a nice looking bright yellow color with a finger's worth of white foamy head that slid off at a mild pace. Some stringy lace ran here and there.
The aroma arranged finely between some pineapple, grassy sour to sweet funk, some sweet Meyer lemon, and a touch of sweet oak.
The flavor mildly brought the sweet towards the sour and brought in a little bit of that funk. Mild vinous quality for balance. Not much of any aftertaste, somewhat vinous, sour, light pineapple, smooth vanilla and grassiness.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a stifled sipping quality about it. I want to say that for an AWA, this one did want to speak to me in a refreshing ability. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt on par. Mild sour to sweet oaky and light vanilla finish.
Overall, really nice AWA that had a refreshing and sessionable aspect about it. As much as I liked this for me, I really think I would like this more preferably in the Summer.
