nice looking beer... its this nasty pale color and is completely opaque, milky. bright white head recedes quickly and not much lacing left behind pretty aromatic and the palate follows for the most part. getting pithy grapefruit peel, lemon, orange, peaches, spicy pineapple. but in general the fruit qualities are sort of overpowered by this harsh green character... hop burn status. dankness, bready malts, and a creamyness playing around in the background, hit of pine needles on the finish. on one hand this is a nice offering as it brings some serious green and danky character, but maybe goes a bit too far to the point where the citric and tropical fruit notes cant shine through.

On tap at the brewery.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a semi-murky to chill haze sort of yellow to orange sort of blend. Just a cap of a little white foamy head that slid off at a moderate pace. Lace, well, it's somewhat there, seemed to slide downwards for the most part.
The aroma had a nice blend of sweet danky onion/pot leafiness flowing over some pineapple and mango to shape it sweetly with a subtle bitter juiciness ever so slightly at the end, somewhat leafy to me.
The flavor was leafy and danky sweet running through the onion, pineapple and mango. Sly crisp aftertaste of the mango and onion with a clean semi-juicy effect.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionable to sipping quality about it. Carbonation was the usual - yes, low, but I wasn't bothered by that. ABV felt on par. Semi-danky onion to sweet mango sort of finish.
Overall, very nicely done New England styled IPA that I would have again.
