Growler to tulip and stemless tulip.
No changes between glasses.
The appearance was a thick yellowed/orange paper wood color with a rim of white foamy head. Sly dissolving and barely any lace.
The aroma started with a danky sweet Vidalia onion melding fairly quick into orange pulp, pineapple and papaya.
The flavor yields to the sweetness of it all by meshing that Vidalia onion to the orange pulp, pineapple and papaya. Am I drinking a fruit salad with onions in it? Hmmmmmm....perhaps. Semi-dry aftertaste of the orange but more like rind and with a quick bitterness.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Light carbonation. Slight stickiness rolls along my tongue. Moderately sticky with sweet tropical and onion notes in the finish.
Overall, very nice New England styled DIPA well worthy of having again.
