Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a bright mango juice color with a thin cap of a little white foamy head. Mildly dissipated to leave some sly lace.
The aroma had some apricot/mango sweetness playing with a sweet lactose/creaminess. Light lemon pulpy sweetness underneath.
The flavor meshed between all of those prior mentioned fairly sweet with a very smooth bright fruity juicy aftertaste. Noticeable traces of nuts sat in the initial taste as well.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a decent sipping quality as the thickness of the lactose did seem to make this seem like I was drinking juice instead of beer. Yes, this was a very creamy IPA, one of those milkshake IPA's, I guess, but one thing I know is that though this is pretty good for what it is, I'd say I'd come back to this perhaps in small doses.
