On tap at the brewery.
The appearance was a dark pink to murky red color with a nice two finger white foamy head softly dissipating. Mild lace.
The aroma had sweet to tart red raspberries up front with a mild semi-sweet and dry floral-ish rose hip underneath. Some grassy to lemony underplay happened to balance it out a bit further.
The flavor seemed to blend semi-sweetly with an underscore of sour to tart and a bitter circumstance. This, in turn helped to slide into the aftertaste with a sweet floral dry quality rolling into the red raspberries.
The mouthfeel was almost medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Mild pucker, but not burdensome. Carbonation felt good. ABV seemed close to what was projected. Nice floral to raspberry finish with just a but of pucker/sour.
Overall, a very nice fruited sour ale well worthy to come back to.
