Poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a fairly thick streamy purple color glossed with a subtle pink-ish off white semi-foamy head. Mild dissipation leaving some messy lace.
The aroma had a nice sweet to tart boysenberry character. Subtle dose of lemon then a sweet creamy lactose coming in underneath.
The flavor moderately leads with the sweetness then brings in the tartness for balance. Aftertaste is all about the boysenberry with the lactose.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Carbonation and ABV felt good. Lingering boysenberry-ish seed-like sweet finish with a touch of tart.
Overall, pretty nicely done fruited sour ale, I'd have again.

This has the potential to be a good sour. I think they ruined it with the lactose.
