This is very reminiscent of Trillium's Publik House beer. Very strong grapefruit rind smell and taste. It's kind of a love it, hate it kind of thing. I happen to love it but it is by no means a poor expression as some of the posters have suggested. In fact it is spot on with what they were trying to do.

Decent looking beer, super hazed and a bright white head that is a little fluffier than some of the other foam canned IPAs with smaller denser bubbles. Aroma is dank, musty, earthy, herbal, vegetal, grassy. Palate is much the same - there is this like sharp herbal/vegetal green quality up front and a danky earth quality. some grapefruit and lemon dancing around, a hint at pineapple but its hard to detect with the other flavors being so strong. almost no malt profile to speak of, perhaps a hint of doughyness but this beer is ridiculously unbalanced and could benefit from a more robust malt backbone to support the excessive hoppyness. unfortunately this beer is sort of harsh throughout ... on the last sip I got this oniony/garlic esque burn that not only tasted astringent but i could feel in my throat. overall one of the worst IPAs ive tried and at %18/ 4-pk that is entirely unacceptable. foam has a great reputation and many of their beers are delicious, but the canned IPAs are almost undrinkable!!
