This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This one smells like stale sweetness, sugar, heavy roast, and vanilla.
Most of the adjunctery doesn't come through here at all, and the lactose creates a stale sweetness that I really don't love. That stale sweetness heavily clashes with the heavy roast. I also don't love the complete lack of coconut. I love coconut! Give me some of it!
This is light bodied, and not super drinkable, with a strangely flabby feel to it.
This is a major miss from a usually dependable brewery.
