The appearance was a fairly bright golden yellow color with a fair transparency. Just a wispy cap of a little white foamy head swiftly slid off. No lace.
The aroma had some pomegranate juice, lime juice, a touch of lemon further underneath and some fresh semi-sweet grassiness.
The flavor took all of the prior mentioned aromas to blend together in a sour sort of way while pulling in an ample tart and sweet character pretty nicely. Quick aftertaste of lime juice and some pomegranate.
The mouthfeel was about light bodied, perhaps just a touch over and having a fine sessionability about it. Nothing distracting. Good carbonation. Clean fruity juicy finish.
Overall, fruit beer or sour ale? Whatever this wants to be, it's quite good for this time of the year.
