From a 750ml growler, filled at the brewery 04/16/19. Served in a spiegelau IPA glass.
Pours a deeply hazed but otherwise bright and cheerful pale orange with two-plus fingers of bubbly white foam. Retention is good, leaving a bubbly cap and a fat, gobby webbery of sticky lacing.
A fairly robust nose of sweet, sticky tropical fruits. Orange, pineapple and mango and something sort of creamy sweet and cake-like.
Taste more-or-less follows the nose, orange-pineapple juice, vanilla birthday cake and marijuana. Simultaneously tart-and-sweet and juicy-dank. Finishes with a little triple sec and a lot of bitter, oily orange peel.
Feel is juicy-bright, medium bodied with vigorous carbonation and a very mild, comfortable boozy warmth in the gullet.
Overall, perhaps I was just very, very thirsty, but I found this to be excellent-verging-on-flawless. Ticks every box for a NEDIPA.
