by papposilenus from New Hampshire
From a 16oz can, dated 04/11/19. Served in a Foam-branded cervoise... #properglassware.
Pours pale and hazy, like a glass of lemonade, with a scant finger of frothy head which falls off rapidly leaving a bit of thin, slippery lacing... #runonsentence.
The aroma is not especially strong but it’s clean and sweet, like glazed lemon-lime sugar cookies.
The taste starts out with that slightly tart lemon-lime high note before dropping down into straight-on bitter white grapefruit juice. Light and juicy with the cookie-like character persisting from start to finish.
Feel is thinly juicy, fairly light bodied with seltzer-like carbonation and drying as all get-out.
Overall, nice for what it is, a session-plus NEIPA that, the more you drink, the thirstier you get.
