From a 16oz can, dated 04/11/19. Served in a Foam-branded cervoise because totally proper glassware.
Pours a heavily hazed lemon merengue color with a finger of sea foam head. Retention is fleeting, leaving a scant fizzy collar and thin lacings.
Smells of fresh-baked, over-yeasted white bread with a whiff of something alkaline.
Taste is thin and tart. Reminiscent of one of those fruit blend flavored seltzer waters, maybe lemon-lime and a tart berry, like cranberry.
Feel is crisp and effervescent, light bodied with aggressive, seltzer-like carbonation.
Overall, a serviceable enough beverage but nothing to write home about. Tastes and feels way smaller than 6.6% abv so I guess there’s that.
