Great beer but quite heavy. Lightly carbonated with a small caramel colored head. Aroma had hints of cacao and red wine, but neither was overpowering. Visually, the hue was dark brown, coffee-colored. Mouthfeel was oily and silky, and it left a nice film on the glass after drinking. Flavorwise, strong red wine notes hit at first, followed by a chocolate, malt finish. Not something I could drink a lot of, but great.
