We used locally grown Centennial and Cascade along with Citra and Mosaic hops to compliment the flavors and aromas of the UVM grown Boax hemp strain. The terpenes found in the hemp and hops that we used really pop with the techniques applied to create this beer.

Poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a fairly ruddy soft orange cloudy/hazy color with a small cap of a white foamy head. Settled at a good pace to leave some messy lace roaming around the glass.
The aroma had some danky green hoppiness with fresh grass, remnants of dried hay, some lavender petals and some sweet yeasty notes.
The flavor moderately leaned towards the sweet side strolling subtly into some danky pulled grassy to slightly lemony notes. Honestly, the lemon is truly stretching it but I swear it's so far under. Mild aftertaste of danky grass, some herbal character, earthy flowers and the dried hay.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied and having more of a sipping quality about it. Low carbonation as usual for the style. Fairly smooth with a substantial grip of hop harshness. Finish had some hoppy notes, light dank, grass and dried hay.
Overall, I guess that was supposed to be hemp that was used in this. Thank God there wasn't too much in the aroma as I can't stand the small of hemp if it's too strong.

Had on tap at FB. Decent IPA. Clearly herbaceous. Considering the wealth of hops... I didn’t really notice anything really noteworthy except the hemp and rope like intrusions. Smooth and very good looking overall. Interesting and good beer but will be a one off for me.

From a 750ml growler, filled at the brewery 05/08/19. Served in a Foam-branded cervoise.
Pours a milky-pale lemon chiffon-yellow with a big, boisterous, two-finger-plus head of creamy fluff. Retention is pretty good, leaving a frappe-like cap and a bubbly network of lacing.
Nose is sharp, tart and weedy and, when I say ‘weedy,’ damned if it doesn’t smell a lot like sticking your nose in a bag of weed.
Tastes fresh, sweet, dense and juicy, with orange, mango, peach and green, leafy herb. The taste doesn’t have nearly the same in-your-face dope presence as the nose, more a deep-down, round and profound dankness. Fresh-squeezed earthy goodness with vanishingly low bitterness.
Feel is juicy and, in fact, this may be the juiciest example of a juicy beer I’ve ever had. Medium bodied with fine, gentle carbonation. There is no alcohol evident in the taste but there is an undeniable, comfortable boozy warmth in the gullet.
Sweet merciful Dionysus, this is frigging delicious! It’s one of the most flavourfuly dense beers I’ve ever tasted and, relative to the NEIPA style, the mouthfeel is absolutely flawless. I thought the hemp was just a gimmick but it really does bring something special here.
