Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a fairly thick burnt orange color with a small cap of a white foamy head. Good dissipation left some spotty sliding lace.
The aroma had some dark piney/sweet onion/creamy citrus character with some grassy hops to boot at the end.
The flavor was slightly danky/sweet to oniony earthy and deep citrus. Mellow aftertaste of danky onion and cream.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Since the flavors seem to be hard on each other, I did have to sip this one. Some slick to semi-oily character. Fairly smooth finish of onion, pine and creamy citrus.
Overall, for the most part, this is pretty well done, enjoyable and Worthy of having again.

Shared a can at FB with fellow beer tourists to my left (Mary and Christine) and right ( Eva and John). Had wanted to try but couldn’t go ABV route for 16oz. and still sample other Foam brews. So we had our own little “bottle” share albeit can. Enjoyed it but didn’t really stand out much from other brews I’ve had elsewhere. Hops seemed more NZ oriented... which I like, but... just kinda been there done that kinda take. Glad I tried but other Foam brews blew this away for me any way.

8.6% IIPA with Nelson Sauvin, Waimea, and Motueka hops: very bright, and pungent: too bad BT 10 is in a
continuing series, and won't be revisited. Fans of NZ hops are gonna want to try this one.
