A- 12oz can pours into a tulip glass with a chalky, hazy pale yellow body and a tall crown. The head ascends to two fingers high with a very thick creamy texture and great retention. Large sheets of lacing wrap around the glass.
S- Hoppy aroma with this "The Bruce" experimental hop. For me it does well in a Pilsner with floral, herbal, bright citrus and even a hint of stone fruit atop the cereal and bready Pils grains. Hints of lemon and tangerine.
T- The bright aspect of the hops comes out even a bit more here again with a lemon, lime and tangerine sort of flavor alongside floral, spicy and earthy hop notes. The malt base is slightly sweet and there are bready, doughy, slight pale fruit and crackery hints throughout.
MF- Creamy and puffy light bodied brew with a very high level of bubbles. Clean herbal bitterness in the finish.
Clean and refreshing pilsner with strong hops and malts. The Bruce seems to fit the style fairly nicely.
