On tap at Foam Brewers.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a beautiful ruddy burnt orange color with a small stifled quarter finger white foamy head. In turn, this fell off stealthily to barely leave any lace. What was there seemed somewhat sporadic and glossy.
The aroma had some mango in front roaming on into a subtle creamy sorbet-ish quality, clean and very nice.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet end relishing in its endeavors of creamy sorbet and mango notes. Mellow aftertaste of mango sorbet.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it due to a delicate dryness underneath. Nice low carbonation with some stickiness but acceptable. Good finish of creamy mango.
Overall, as a borderline New England styled IPA, yes, it could be construed as one but yes it could be an American Imperial IPA, try it for yourself.
