1st review of this beer on BA. Had this in October 2019 at the source (after I had a bunch of the guest taps).
Pours a light yellow with almost a light green shadow to it. 1/2" white head. Its really cool looking. The aroma was quite unique here, the commercial tug job is on point, there is a melon and cucumber kind of smell to it, with a little bit of lime beyond that.
The taste was much like a neo-mexican wild hop, plenty of lime note to it, somehow they put a cucumber spin on it and I didn't hate it. Was a little bit like a baja blast ipa taste wise. Has a bite to it, but damn its unique enough to provide respect. Its green, but not so much a vegetal green, but more of a melon and cucumber gourd kind of green. I dunno what the hopping was here, guessing something like Sabro and Huell Melon could be possible. But this was so different than the standard ipa, anything is possible.
Would absolutely revisit this again, was that combo of very good and unique/interesting.
