Moderate pour yields a nearly two inch mocha head over a near black body with some lacing, fleeting at best, and disappearing fairly quickly. Nose of roasted malts, coffee, slight vanilla, slight chocolate, and even slighter maple. Taste is very roasty (malt and coffee) with a maple and slight vanilla finish. As it warms a milk sugar "maple creamee" (it's a Vermont thing!) vanilla flavor comes forward with a silky maple finish. Nice feel and overall, a very tasty treat for dessert.
