well made and refreshing can of beer that any beer drinker should like, crisp but not minimal, expansive and flavorful while also being more or less true to style and easy going, thanks to my buddy for the hook up, have long been a fan of foam. blonde to golden brew just off from perfect clarity with a ton of bubbles collecting in more than an inch of dense white head, looks great in the glass, lower luster but pretty well polished anyway. the nose and taste run about the same, the floral side of noble hops, possibly something other than noble too, light citrus to me, especially as it warms, lower bitterness despite being objectively hoppy in a sense. fresh biscuity malt just slightly richer and less dry and fuller bodied to me than is commonplace with the kolsch style, but it doesnt heavy it up enough to detract from drinkability, and the mineral character is distinctive as well. it almost seems like it could have a little wheat in it. long on the palate for the style but also still somewhat crisp if that makes sense, the sweetness from the grain is all up front, and there is nice balance in this. perhaps slightly faded to me, subtle on the yeast as these go, and a touch more substantial, but also with a lot of personality and very well refined. solid, if not epic from these guys.
