A really enjoyable Helles for sure. I have had very mixed results with Foam, but as the first Lager I've tried I'm mucho impressed. Found on tap locally. A slight chill haze to the pour. Nice bready malts well-balanced by a slight, but very enjoyable hop character - perhaps more than typical of the style. Lots of drinkability this one... good stuff!

Canned 2023/10/17. Been a while since I had a good Munich Helles, and I expect Foam to scratch that itch.
Pours a frothy bubbly large 2 finger head with moderate retention, nice messy lacing, mostly clear slight chill haze deep pilsner golden color
Nose brings that nice rich grainy-sweet malt, a bit doughy, straw, cereal grist, deep layered malt likely decoction mashed, light herbal floral noble hops
Taste brings cereal up front, grainy-sweet malt, straw, bready doughy notes, soft layered likely single decoction mash, then mild hop bitterness with a nice herbal floral noble hop flavor, finishes drier but soft, hops get a touch spicy and a bit more bitterness
Mouth is med bod, soft lager, med to higher small bubble slight prickly carb
Overall nicely done
