Canned March 4th 2025. From Beer Drop.
Pours a clear and very bubbly amber gold with a 2 finger head of foam. Great retention, lacing is very good.
The smell is kind of a spicy hops, caramel and bread malt, but that hoppiness is intriguing.
The taste accentuates my remark aboot the hop profile. Spicy with a zing that I have rarely tasted before. The malt is some caramel sweetness and bready.
The mouthfeel is firmly in the medium category and wow, it still has a finger of foam.
Drinkable? You bet and I would definitely drink this again.

Appearance: Cloudy, light amber. Frothy off-white head with good retention.
Aroma: Bready and floral with a hint of caramel.
Flavor: caramel and toasted bread, spicy and moderate to low bitterness.
Mouth feel: Medium bodied, drying, moderate length crisp finish.
Overall: Impressive effort from this brewery. Glad they went more traditional than "Mexican" style. Visually its cloudy (assume its unflitered) and pours to a nice off white head that lasts. Initial taste reveals toasted bread with a little caramel on the malt bill. Spicy hops. Also has a nice floral hops aroma. Gives an impression of sweetness but finish quite dry. Checks the style boxes right down to a notable bitterness that is short and clean at the finish. Very drinkable but not sessionable at 5.2%.

Pours a foamy frothy 1 finger head with moderate retention, spotty lacing, clear orange to amber color
Nose brings bready grainy malts, toasted and a bit biscuity, light fruity esters probably more malt-derived, light herbal hops
Taste again brings toasted malts, biscuity grainy, cereal, some mild bread crust and a hint of caramelized sugars, faint toffee and honey, mild fruity esters again probably malt-derived, med to lighter bitterness with mild herbal spicy hops, finishing with a med to higher spicy hop bitterness, fairly dry
Mouth is med bod, med carb
Overall pretty solid for Vienna style, maybe a bit high on the finishing hop bitterness and spicy character but decent there, and good malt profile
